Asus Rog Strix z370-E with CableMods WideBeam RGB

Is anyone able to help me connect my CableMods WideBeam RGB Strip to the addressable RGB header on my Asus Rog Strix z370-E motherboard.

I have the addressable RGB extension cable that came with my motherboard connected to the addressable RGB header on my motherboard but I cant figure out how to connect the CableMods WideBeam RGB Strip to the other end.

Photo of the addressable RGB extension that came with my motherboard:

Thanks for the help.

  1. You are missing something,s omething's off with that widebeam cable, it should also have the same female connection as the male variant in the first picture, for example, take a look at the Phanteks RGB starter packs, they have that female connection on them.

You sure you didn't loose any cables?

Hmm well I have just checked my motherboard manual to see what was included in the box and have managed to account for every wire so nothing in lost there. But when I search CableMods RGB WideBeam on Google images I can not see a connector that would fit to that on the images.

Maybe it not compatible with my board :(
