Questions about passively cooled gt 1030

Hello i have a questions about passively cooled gt 1030. The msi gt 1030 with display port is quite cheap and i can buy it, but what's the temperatures? Also i want to oc this card. Can passive cooler take it?

  2. Well i think i can oc a little this card. Im pretty sure it can hit 1300 mhz on core from 1265. I can buy also used 750 ti

    For temps I see a max of 59C for gaming but even though the temps are reasonable I wouldn't overclock it as it only draws power from the PCIE slot and even a minor overclock won't yield good enough results to make it worth it IMO.

    The 1030 & 750 perform very similar, go with whatever is cheaper.

  5. I dont think that it will cause any damage to the mobo because its drawing 30 watts. Even if its slightly oc I think that it cant reach 75 W limit of the mobo.

  6. Get the 750 Ti if you can. Just the fact you'd want to overclock a 1030(a passively cooled one no less) tells me you'd be happier with the 750 Ti.
