PSU 4x4 pin connector to motherboard

Hello there, I'm currently building my fist gaming PC ever and it's been a pleasant experience so far.

I have to connect the 4x4 pin connector to my Strix Z-370G motherboard, the thing is my PSU has a couple of 4 pins connectors (split) and my motherboard has 8 ports. According to the manual, 4 are for normal use and the other 4 are there when I want to overclock. Which of both do I plug? I will use only 4. From right to left? Or doesn't it really matter?

I'm so noooob right now It makes me cringe :D

More about psu 4x4 pin connector motherboard
  1. Do you mean the ATX power connection on page 38? Plug them both in!
    Can you specify?

Are you missing the 24 Pin (20+4 Pin) Main power connector for the motherboard ?
  2. what psu have you got?
  3. Hello guys, thank you for answering!

zoltan.boese: Yes, I mean, I've already connected the 24 pin main power connector to the motherboard, now I need to connect the other CPU 4 pin connector to the motherboard. But the PSU has the 8 pin connector split, so do I connect them all then?

I mean it's only 1 connector with 8 pins. My PSU cable has the 8 pins split, so the manual says that I should connect 4 for normal use and the other 4 when overclocking, that's what confuses me.

In the upper left, the 8 pin connector. So, do I just plug everything?
