ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 with SSD compatibility

Hello everyone,
I am wondering if my motherboard, ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 is compatible with any M.2 SSD? like the Samsung 860 EVO MZ-N6E250BW

  1. Nope, it does not have any M.2 ports at all.

    No it does not support M.2, but you can take a SATA SSD like the Samsung 850 (MZ-75E500B) or 860 evo MZ-76E500B

  4. You could use an NVMe PCIe adapter and run it that way. But no your board does not have a dedicated M.2 slot as stated above.
