Hard drive issue

I have a hard disk but not detecting in bios how I can get my data from the hard its very important data

  1. How old is this drive? and what interface does it use (SATA/IDE)?

    Try switching the cable you are using to connect the drive and also the port on the motherboard you are using. If neither of those work, if possible try the drive in another PC.

    If none of the above work, there may be something more seriously wrong with the drive, that may require professional recovery solutions.
  2. EOB's implication that data recovery is first and foremost is a very good one! +1, and add: get your data folders and files copied off of that problematic HD and onto external media as soon as possible. I hope this HD only has a fixable logical failure and not an imminent physical failure.
