New Radeon Drivers Update, Appalling Performance.

I recently just updated my graphics cards drivers (For my 3 week old rx 560) and now rainbow six siege, which usually ran at around 70 fps average on medium settings, now runs between 20-50 fps on the lowest graphical settings. I have tried restarting and the absolute lowest graphical settings. My CPU is not overclocked, neither is my GPU.

RX 560
i5-2400
2x4gb ddr3 hyperx fury ram
1tb seagate hdd

Thanks.

More about radeon drivers update appalling performance
  1. weve been getting alot of questions regarding the old i5 and pairings of new amd gpu's.....long story short is your cpu singlecore performance to play todays games is poor.
  2. Hi, What version Radeon Drivers did you install? What resolution are you running the game at? I assume you where getting 70fps with the RX560 with older drivers, have you tried going back to the older version drivers to see if this fixes your low fps?
Did you do an upgrade from within Radeon settings or did you download the driver manually and did an install? Either way you could try a reinstall but first download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from : http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
After you download DDU, Run DDU and let it remove all traces of drivers, then install the latest Radeon driver...
I have used it for years and it help with driver issues, hope this helps.

Ok, thanks. I feel as if windows 7 might be part of the issue as well. I guess ill have to upgrade for more compatibility for future updates. If that fails, I guess ill have to find a way to roll back the update, it may be a hardware issue...
