Does this site look legit?

So, I'm about to buy a Titan xp collectors edition video card, and the buyer told me that he will provide me with an "E-Code" once the payment has been received. The E-Code will then be used on http://nvredemption.com/, and Nvidia will send me a titan xp after that. The site looks a little fishy however. Is it just me?

Yeah just don't. Things don't add up at all. The site is not affiliated with nvidia in any way. So don't pay them anything it's a scam.
  5. So I went through with it, and it turns out that it was infact a legit site. The seller sold me that he was gifted the code, from Jensen Haung at NIPS 2017. So now i'm happily sitting at home with my Gallactic Empire Titan Xp :bounce: Thanks for the help guys!!

You got very lucky there. These things are almost always scams.
  7. I wonder why someone goes through the effort of asking for advice here, gets the advice where the majority of the responders advise to NOT buy from the seller, and the OP buys it anyway! And thanks everyone for their help!!!!?

    Your next task:
Register that GPU serial number at the manufacturers website.

I asked the seller to cancel the order, after what you guys said. He then said that he couldn't and proceeded to send me pictures of the box, with the actual website card on it. It looked legit after that. It was my fault I didn't explain it properly.

I got an email direct from Nvidia that sent me to this site as part of a giveaway they were running. Checked with them. Yes, the site is legit. No, it's not managed by Nvidia directly. They outsourced their promotional stuff to someone else, which explains the whois results.

Granted, this could be an enormous scam by people working at Nvidia but that's a different problem, entirely.

As to the original poster: never trade money for the promise of goods. I definitely would not have agreed to this. I hope it all works out for you but this situation was playing with fire.
