4 Pin splitter

Hello!

I have one 4 pin connector and two 3-pin connector on my motherboard. So when i plug the fan to the 3 pin connector on the motherboard, both fans spin at 100%.

So if i buy this: https://www.newfrog.com/product/4-pin-pwm-fan-cable-1-to-3-ways-splitter-black-sleeved-extension-cable-128562.01?currency=DKK&gclid=CjwKCAiAm7LSBRBBEiwAvL1-L2oFRIt_7psx8XIdZDV9sIyEhp54OqFxnV-44POoPjQoDtFdtBXhFRoCClYQAvD_BwE

Are the fans gonna be slower? And will the motherboard connector burnout?

  6. Corsair HD 120 supposedly use 0.3 A each, so on most motherboard you can safely connect 3 to single header. Just make sure your motherboard is set to use PWM control on 4-pin header.

Actually, isn't the only 4-pin header labeled as CPU_FAN? In this case this will not work, as you have to connect CPU cooler there.
