Ryzen 1200 stock cooler RPM

Hello and Happy New Year! I built a new rig based on R3 1200 and on stock atm my cooler (the stock one) is at 1850-1860RPM while idle and on ~1914 while playing games like CS:GO and PUBG is that normal RPM? I am getting my numbers from HWMonitor and I am running ASROCK AB350M-HDV mobo

  1. Yes, that is normal. What are your idle and loaded (like when gaming) operating temperatures?

Looks like it is cooling well. The stock heatsink is a bit loud and is why I haven't used in any of the 4 Ryzen builds I have built. It does work and it looks good, however.

1 question i just saw something really strange with 1 of the chasis fan HW monitor said that It ran at 19000 (The fan is one of the fans that comes with Deepcool Tesseract SW case) then I went to the bios to see the same thing this time 19561 RPM ?! Is that even possible ?

  5. Not very likely. More likely a sensor glitch. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
