  1. A 32" TV is no different than any 720p monitor; therefore the APU can handle it.

    tv size is not relevant

    resolution is what matters

what is the resolution of the tv?

if all you want to do is watch movies it should be ok, though for smooth 4k you need something like a gt 1030

  3. I don't think 4K 32" TVs exist; they all seem to be 720p.

  4. GhislainG is right - TV makers think nobody who cares about Hi Res would bother with anything as small as 32". Years ago my son got us a 32" Samsung TV that has lots of input options and 1080p resolution at 60Hz - it's great.

OP, just watching stuff up to 720p or 1080p is not a really demanding job for modern systems, so don't worry about needing a powerful machine. As others have said, the video and audio systems in that setup will be fine. Having used a computer for this sort of thing for a while, including saving a lot of downloaded stuff, I suggest you think about a bigger HDD. Our system started out with two 2TB HDD's and they got mostly full with a few thousand hours of videos. When one started to fail, we replaced them with two 4TB units (pus a small SSD for the OS), so that will last several more years.

  6. The selected CPU will have no problems handling a TV at that resolution.
