New SSD performing well below expected performance

My new SSD (Kingston SSDNow UV400 240GB) appears to be running well below expectations. I checked my ports and cables (SATA 3.0 6 Gb/s) and those are fine. I also checked for driver updates. In addition I ran a hard drive test using hard drive sentinel with no errors detected. I thought i'd throw a thread here because I have no idea why it's performing so poorly in comparison to other peoples benches. Everything seems to be in order, what do you think is causing this?

Heres my reference for why I think this: http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/6589376

Thanks for reading through this.

More about ssd performing expected performance
  1. Can only suggest you get a new cable and plug it into a new port and repeat the test.
