Low FPS in Games with A Decent PC

So i have a GTX 1050ti and a Ryzen 3 1200 8gb ram 2100mhz (Overclocked to 2400) with Windows 10 64-bit. and i am noticing frame lag every now and then On Rainbow Six Seige. I average about 60-80 frames but i sometimes drop to 45 frames on low settings. This is also happening in other games such as GTA 5. My friends with 1050s and 960s are getting more frames than me. My GPU drivers up to date, but i dont know if my mother board or CPU drivers are up to date (because I dont know how to check) My mother board is a Gigabyte A320M-HD.

If someone could help that would be great. Thanks.

Weird. Most people usually have these problems when the resolution is too high. Your GPU isnt really he thing keeping you down, its your CPU. You can have the most amazing GPU but a crappy cpu and you are screwed. Its probably a mix between only having 8GB of ram, and the gpu-cpu. GTA isnt really optimized, a lot of games aren't. Your processor isnt bad but its not the most amazing, same with your GPU, its only 4GB.

Yeah sometimes what you have isnt enough :( But at least its a decent cpu, you should still be able to play most games.
