Display zooms in and out

I don't know if this is a GPU problem or a program problem. I am working on an Autodesk Maya tutorial. When I open a file to start working, the display zooms in and out on it's own. I've checked my GPU drivers, they are all up to date. Any suggestions as to what the problem is will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. Sounds like you have a stuck key more than a video card issue.

  2. I can't see by looking at my keyboard that anything is stuck. It only happens when I am working in the Autodesk Maya program.

You mean the project you see zooms in and out, or the actual program interface? What if you manually try to zoom in, does it stop doing it automatically or still does it? What video card do you have?

  5. Manually zooming in and out seems to make the situation worse. I have a GTX 970 GPU. It only happens in the scene view I am working on.

Try a different mouse and keyboard. See if changing mouse or zoom settings in the customize section helps with anything. Failing that, put in a question to their support line.
