Is my overclock above average?

I have an i5 4670K and have managed to get a stable OC of 4300Mhz @ 1.2V on air using a 212 Evo...after 25min of Aida64 stress testing temperatures did not exceed 69c. Have I won the silicon lottery or is my CPU overclocking as expected?

4.3Ghz is expected, you could maybe push it to 4.6GHz at 1.3V.
As for the temps, on stress testing, keep it under 90 c but for more normal uses under 75 c

    Good Luck :)

  2. you can try to pit your setup agains the world by running a "userbenchmark" test and it will upload to their site automatically :) you can search other builds similar to yours and compare their stats. but its not a real comparison coz everyones got their own or preferred way of overclocking. some like manual vclock. some like it adaptive with offset. some like a very high avx offset value. some dont. some like all their cores to max. some like it per core auto. some boards have better TPU (power step plan) or EPU (energy savings) built into them.

Benchmarks are a good idea thanks!

I will try to overclock higher soon but for now I think it's at the perfect OC for my needs!
