1 stick or 2 of Ram?

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820164064&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=PPSSXEIFOOCLFG-_-20-164-064-_-Product

This Ram is on sale right now and I was wondering if it’s good to buy or not?

My build^

I am only ordering Ram mobo and Cpu because that’s all I need for my upgrade.

If this 1 stick of Ram is compatible with the rest of my build should I buy it? It says that the MHz is at 2666mhz. Will going to 3200 Be overclocking it? Is it the same with the 2, 8 sticks?
Thanks and hopefully ASRock extreme4 z370 is out of stock on new egg and amazon it’s like $185. I am waiting for a Christmas for maybe a discount or better ram that will be cheap, same for the other parts!

Thanks

  1. You have a dual channel board and you need to get 2 sticks of RAM or there may be performance loss and stability issues. You are building a very nice system, don't go cheap with one stick of RAM.

If it is the budget issue, then go for 2666mhz speed RAM. Intel CPUs do not scale much past 2666mhz.

I would also go with this build. It will give you better fps in games and will cost you less.
