Popping shadows and textures?

So I selled my rx 460 because everyone told me the gtx 1050 was way better so I bought it. So I uninstalled amd drivers with ddu and installed the nvidia's one but now if I try to play for instance csgo or gta 5, it has terrible draw distance and shadows are blurred till I get near them.

  3. One thing to consider, AMD and Nvidia do things differently. When you switch from one to the other you may need to go into their control panel and make sure all the settings are matching what you have before. Don't expect that Nvidia settings will be exactly the same as AMD's. It may be giving you some default settings balanced between reduced quality in exchange for increased performance and maybe you'd be happier with all settings on the highest quality.

RX 460 and GTX 1050 performance is pretty similar. I wouldn't call this a good upgrade.

BTW - what are manufacturer/model names of those cards?
For example, if RX460 was with 4GB of vram and GTX 1050 with 2GB of vram, you wouldn't be able to keep same draw distance settings in GTA5.
