Can my laptop handle 144hz

Hi, im new to this site so correct me if necessary. So my laptop has these specs : i5 4120U R7 m260 and 8gb of ram and a hdmi connector. So can i run 144hz monitor. I would be playing cs go mostly, and im looking forward to build a new rig so the 144hz would definetly come in need for the new rig. If you have further questions feel free to ask!

If you want to get 144Hz at 1080p out of an HDMI port, you'll need to ensure that you've got access to an HDMI 2.0 port on both your monitor and graphics card. If your graphics card or monitor are relatively old, chances are, you're using version 1.4 or below, where you'll have a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz at 1080p. This is where DVI comes in handy, as it is able to achieve 144Hz at 1080p.

I'm betting your laptop probably can't do 144hz, but a new computer definitely could.
