Can anyone tell me why I’m losing frames in game?

So I had gotten a new build for my pc and it’s all fine and dandy.
500W Bronze EVGA PSU
ROG STRIX GTX 1070 8gb
Ryzen 7 1700 3.0 ghz 16mb memory cache
8gb ddr4 Ram
Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3

On average, I get ~150 frames in league of legends but recently, in team fights, I drop to the 45-50 range. This should not be happening with a gtx 1070. I can’t think of any reason I could be lagging other than maybe a low power supply, but even that doesn’t usually cause frame rate loss. And no, it is not overheating. It gets to be around 50 degrees Celsius. And there is no dust since I like to keep it clean by cleaning the components every now and then (simply just dusting it). Please help

More about losing frames game
  1. GPU usage and cpu usage when the frame drops occur? You can use something like msi afterburner to find out.

Do you have the latest drivers installed for the 1070?
