SSD Not showing up in BIOS

Hey!

So the title says pretty much it all.

My ssd won't show up in bios after i switched my new powersupply to a new one. I switched from Corsair 550m to Supernova 750w G3.

I didn't change any of the sata cables or anything. I have 2 SSD's (HyperX and Samsung EVO) and one HDD (Seagate). My BIOS CAN detect my Samsung SSD what is wierd...

Sata cable what works with the samsung ssd, i tried to use it with one of my ssd what has windows on it. (HyperX one). I've check my bios if the sata controller is set to ACHI and it is. Also CSM is on and set to UEFI and Legacy.

Specs:

i7 6700k
ASUS MAXIMUS VIII RANGER
GTX 1070
16GB RAM.

Thanks for the answers! :)

More about ssd showing bios
  1. Go to "Control Panel > Device Manager > Disk Drives" is it listed?

Try moving the Sata cable to another Sata port on the motherboard.

My SSD is not listed on the device manager. I’ve tried using different sata ports and cables.

I went to my friends house and tried my ssd on my friends PC and it worked. Somehow it doesnt work/show on my PC

  3. What version is your BIOS? There have been 16 BIOS updates released for this motherboard, the latest is Version 3504. There are also many SATA and chipset driver updates as well, the last was in November.
