Input Signal Out of Range 1920x1080p Battlefield 1

Hello Friends,

Im running into a strange issue.

When I log onto windows my system runs at 1920x1080 with no issues, however upon opening BF1 I get a message from my monitor saying "Input Signal Out of Range 1920x1080p."

The crazy part is if I unplug my HDMI cable and plug it back into the monitor or computer, I dont get the message anymore and the screen is no longer blurry like when I open the game. This started after the fall creators update with windows.

Here is the list of things I have tried:

Checked resolution in BF1 User files (note that it is correctly showing 1920x1080)
Updated video card drivers
Updated windows
Unplugged HDMI cable and replugged into same port
Unplugged HDMI cable and plugged into another port
Checked in game settings (in game settings displaying 1920X1080)
Reset monitor settings

Here is my system information:

Motherboard - Z97X-Gaming 7
Video Card - NVIDIA GTX1070
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz
Monitor - ASUS MX279
Windows 10

Things im thinking about doing:

Uninstalling the game and reinstalling
Reformatting windows

Any help would be appreciated!

  1. Uninstall and re-install the video card drivers. Windows update loves to mess with drivers.
