Looking for some wisdom- Overclocking i7-8700k to 4.7ghz

Hello vast interwebs. I have recently purchased an i7-8700k and an appropriate MOBO (Gigabyte Z370 AORUS GAMING 7) and watercooled fan (CORSAIR H115i). I have 750 watts of power, so we're good there. I DO NOT WANT TO DELID/VOID WARRANTY. I do not want to simply use the turbo boost, as that is not always maximizing potential, from what I have read it only uses the excess from two cores, and always prioritizes efficiency over performance. So I would like to know the steps to OC my processor to 4.7 GHZ. Given that it can reach that speed with Turbo Boost, and I have ample cooling, I don't think that should be a problem. But what voltages/settings do I need to adjust? I'm a complete newbie when it comes to this.

Hoping the community here can come through for me yet again! Thanks.

  2. I now this is a bit late...but just in case...The 8700K paired to the z370 Gaming 7 should run all cores at 4.7GHz out of the box with just a simple multiplyer change in BIOS to 47...Leave everything else in auto. This is a very good mobo/CPU combination and should run 4.8GHz quiet easily as well without any changes. Afterwards you can start checking what your max vcore is to fine tune this lower..check Core Temp or Hardware Info for vcore value at load (bench test with Prime95 v26.6 and or RealBench). I would go for an offset voltage (DVID) and use the plus and minus keys to lower the vcore by 0.015 to start with and then see how low you can go before issues. This will still allow your vcore to dynamically adjust itself but it will not go over a certain value depending on the ofset...as an example 1.285v would be max.
