    no info = no help
what didn't show up and where?

If it was not in the device manager as either a known device or a yellow triangle, there are problems. If it is a yellow triangle then the drivers are needed.
  6. The gpu still doesnt show up, and the drivers stopped spinning
  7. what is the full system spec?

  15. Even tho you said it connect to the gpu, it sound like it connecting to the motherboard. Did you have the 6-pin power plug in for the 1060?
  16. Yes
  17. Finish install chipset driver/gpu driver then test it again.

Install the chipset driver first. Then the rest. Once you have no yellow icons in the device manager, it should be working.
