Thinking of buying a GTX 1060, can you help?

So I had an amd sapphire 7950 3GB car for 5 years but it stopped working. Now I am looking into buying a new card.

I was thinking of going with and Nvidia GTX 1060 but I am afraid of buying the 3GB version and was thinking of the 6GB one even though I am playing at 1080p.

My first question is, should I go with the 6GB version or would the 3GB one be enough for the upcoming years?

My second question is, which model should I pick or does it matter at all? Black Friday is on the 17th where I am from and was looking to buy the card then if it is on sale, but currently the cheapest ones are (for the 6GB version):
1.Gigabyte AORUS GeForce® GTX 1060 Xtreme Edition, 6GB GDDR5, 192-bit
2.KFA GeForce® GTX 1060 OC, 6GB GDDR5, 192-bit
3.Gainward GeForce® GTX 1060, 6GB GDDR5, 192-bit
4.ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1060 AMP! Edition, 6GB GDDR5, 192-bit

The price differences between these 4 are around 15$ at the moment but I am hoping on some price drops on the day of the sale.

I heard good things about ZOTAC for example but never heard of KFA so I am really confused about choosing a model. Should I just choose the cheapest one? Thank you in advance!

More about thinking buying gtx 1060
  1. There is nothing the 3gb cannot do that the 6gb can...
But the extra VRAM can be handy in a few games and gives you more longevity. Also depends on what cpu you are rocking. Make sure that you rock a good enough cpu...

They all perform around the same irrespective of brands and models as long as you stick to the major brands. I will definitely steer clear of that KFA.

I have been using Zotac for the last 6-7yrs odd and they are pretty good.
