New Tempered Glass Case To Replace My The Current New One I Have

Hello all :pt1cable: I am looking for a new case to replace my other new case. Haha. I currently have the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv, but am having temperature issues. My NZXT Kraken x62 Radiator overheated (water) and caused my system to shut down. After having it looked at, I was told that due to poor designe of the case, there it is not enough airflow going through to keep your temps down under load. NZXT, had also said they have heard issues of this with this case as well. They have been helpful in getting everything on my PC fixed, but also wanted me to have it looked out to confirm it was in fact a failure on their part. When I called Phanteks, they have had complaints from customers about there computers running at higher temps then normal. So, I'm at a loss for words right now, because I really like the classy design of the case, and love the tempered glass. There are sites that Phanteks have directed me to for case mods, but I just can't see spending all the money when it would end up being the same cost of me buying a new case. So, here I am today asking the community on ideas of a beautiful tempered glass case, that has really good cable management (hide the cables) that I will not have to go through this whole debacle with. Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

  1. Have you checked to make sure the pump is running. Is the radiator mounted on top and with the fans set to exhaust? Seems like people with that configuration have issues with the hot exhaust air getting trapped by the top panel. Have you tried moving the radiator to the front panel and switching the fans to intake and pull outside air in through the radiator?

  2. Hiya, Thank you for getting back with me. Yes, I actually have it mounted on the front now, because of articles stating the same thing as you did. The pump did fail, but after looking at the data from CAM it was already running at a high temp. As I have since had it replaced but looking at what they are telling me, with everything on, and case closed up the temps are high. Once they remove the front cover, it changes the temp. I have seen a video where they used smoke to show how restricted the airflow is, which i was really surprised. I just don't want to have such a pretty case, that I have to take the cover off the front, and the side.

  3. You could get a Cooler Master - Master Case 5 Pro and get the Tempered glass Side Panel.

The case has excellent airflow and you can mount the AIO in the top and still run 3X 140MM fans in the front.

  4. Thank you Jankerson, I have seen this case, and you are right, it is very beautiful. My only complaint is that you see all the cables from the power supply, and I really would like to see as few cables as possible. Thank you again though. :)

The regular side panel hides the PSU etc, there is a piece on the bottom that covers it.

Not sure if the piece fits on the glass add-on.

  6. Oh really!!! I will definitely check that out then. It is a beautiful case, that was really my only thing. I will call and ask. Thank you again.

I was also looking at the Cooler Master Cosmos C700P, but it didn't have very good reviews, and also stated it doesn't work with Aura RGB.

The other was the Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass Black, which seems to be a really nice case as well.

  7. Yeah, call and ask to make sure.

I have the case with the reg side panel, see though plastic etc.

The reason why I brought it up.

I just don't know about the glass panel.

  8. I did call, and they told me the glass panel does not come with the same cover as yours.

  9. I did find a Lian Li Alpha 550, but am wondering if the side mesh will be enough to keep everything cool or if I'm just running into the same issue as the Phanteks case I now have. It does seem that they have pushed out and vented, which I think will help with airflow instead of restricting like my Phanteks.

  10. Shame about the Glass on the CM MC V.

Great case with excellent airflow and cable management.

On that Lian Li looks like the PC would be running in a plastic bag to me.

  11. Okay, Thanks. Glad I'm asking lol I don't really want to buy another case after this haha. So guess that leaves the Phanteks Enthoo Tempered Glass Lux, and the In Win 909.

I just dunno, they look pretty weak to me airflow wise.

Even my FD Focus G has better airflow than those, and that's a $40 case I got for my old I7 870 machine.

Here is my CM MC V Pro, current picture with the standard side panel.

  13. What about this case?

Good sized case with good airflow and PSU covers etc.

You can mount the AIO in the top.
