CPU's Frequency suddenly drop while gaming !

Hello !
i have an ASUS A456URK Laptop, and here is the specs :
i5-7200u 2.5 GHz
nVidia 930mx 2GB
8 GB of RAM
1 TB 5200RPM Harddrive

My problem is every time i play games, my cpu will work around 50%-60% and then drop into 1%-10% for 5-15 seconds. i already see the other threads and not helping me at all.

i alr tried :
re-installing nvidia software,
change power plan,
setting the visual effect to best performance,
and reinstalling my RAM,

anyone helping me ?

the temps are perfectly good around 20-40 degree C.

  3. You are using a very slow laptop drive (5400rpm), which may be slowing things down when it's accessing the page file, background apps, etc.

Assuming all the usual suspects have been ruled out, then I would explore a small SSD upgrade to breathe some new life into it...

ASUS have power saving features which sometimes kick in during games.
Look for ASUS UPU, Intel Speedstep (in the bios), CPU-C or any other type of power saving features and disable them.

That again points to power management. Look around all the power options in the control panel.
You often get separate power profiles for plugged in and not plugged in
