  1. Is this a fresh install of Windows or are you trying to take the drive from another system and run it here? Transplanting a drive onto a different motherboard is not guaranteed to boot by any means.

Yes. The copy of Windows was installed on another system, which means it has device drivers loaded for different hardware than it's trying to run on now. You'll have to re-install Windows. It will also be necessary to re-activate Windows: if Windows doesn't accept the old key on a new board or you can't find your license key you might need to buy a new copy of Windows.

  6. Is this Windows 7 you're trying to install? There is a known issue with the Ryzen platform (the new AMD chipset supporting Ryzen to be specific) and previous versions of Windows: the USB drivers included on the windows 7 installer don't recognize the new controller. Windows 10 would not have this problem. Assuming your old key is still valid, it can be used to install 10. The software can be downloaded from Microsost:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

As to the key, if it is a retail key it can be transferred to the new board. If it's an OEM key, it won't and you'll have to call Microsoft (who may ask you to buy a new key). This would be true regardless of which version of Windows you install.
