vrm frequency ?

What does it do ? im using p8p67 pro i7 2600k overclocked at 4,5 with 1.320-1.332 volts but what does the vrm frequency do

  1. Just based on the name, I would assume it controls the frequency at which the voltage regulator module (VRM) switches. In theory, increasing the frequency would reduce the voltage ripple at the VRM output, but would increase VRM losses. I wouldn't mess around with it unless you have a good reason to.
