My first budget PC Gaming Build - Is it good?

Hello guys this is my first gaming PC That I'll be building so I want opinion on what I can replace here or if the motherboard is good and everything else is good, I'm from egypt btw so these prices are in EGP.

Motherboard: Either: Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2PH Socket 1151 Motherboard (rev. 1.0) or Gigabyte GA-H110-D3A Socket LGA 1151 Motherboard (rev. 1.0) (I'm still confused on what's the big difference between them, there's a slight price difference between them which costs 400EPG)

Processor: Intel Core I3-7100 Kaby Lake 3M 2-Core 3.9GHz LGA 1151 - Costs: (2000 L.E)

Graphic Card: Manli GeForce GTX 950 (N375 + F299G) 2GB GDDR5 - Costs: (2800 L.E)

RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY Blue 8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL10 1.5v (HX318C10F/8) - Costs: (1000 L.E)

Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 Mid Tower Desktop Case (I might get this one). - Costs: (950 L.E)

Power Supply: I'm not sure what Watt do I need to get so if you could help me, please tell me.

So Far without Power Supply and Without Hard Drive (Which I might buy later), This Build costs around: 454$

Please give me your opinion on motherboard and what kind of power supply I would need for the watt and for other parts, Also Do I need a CPU Cooler? is it necessary?

Thank you so much.

More about budget gaming build good
  1. its pretty good but the processor would bottleneck the GPU.
You need atleast a 500W powersupply.
And you will need DEFENITLY a CPU COOLER because it will likely not boot if you n have a CPU cooler and will fry your motherboard because processors can go up to 130 c degrees if you dont use a CPU cooler!
This motherboard is pretty good and can overclock your CPU from BIOS to reduce the bottleneck:

Wouldn't his CPU come with a stock cooler? The stock one should do just fine since he's not overclocking. I agree with you on the PSU. Get something 500W or above and I typically like to go with something gold rated. I'm not too trusting of anything else PSU-wise.

  3. I guess to answer your question about the CPU cooler.

Make sure the CPU you're buying comes with a stock cooler. If it does not, then you will definitely need to purchase a third-party one. If it comes with one, you're all set.

  5. You run the risk of bios incompatibility with a kaby lake CPU & a h110 board, the chances of the board running a bios new enough for the i3 7100 is 50/50.

Which is a big risk IMO

You also list ddr3 ram which is totally incompatible, you need ddr4 for this platform

  8. ^ it does but the chances are it needs a BIOS update to run the 7100 & running ddr3 with a kaby lake is not recommended .

Also for 300le more you are FAR better off with a gtx 1050, the 950 is old, weak & will struggle at 1080p
