My PC Is Not Working Please Help

So me and my brother exchanged power supply i had a 650 and he had a 450 and now i have the 450 and he has the 650 ( we made a deal he gave me his 960 twin forzr) and when we exchanged my PC kept overheating every time i played. so i rebuild the pc and then i pluged the power cord and it turned on by itself and after 3 seconds it shut off. i tried pressing the power button nothing happend. i literally tried everything to make it work nothing happened

CPU : AMD FX 8320E

RAM: KINGSTON DDR3 1866 (8 GB 2 STICKS)

GPU: GTX 960 4GB TWIN FROZR

PSU: CORSAIR VS 450

  1. That power supply is most likely the issue. It really isn't meant for a system of this caliber, you need something better quality for your system, something like a S12II 520W or CXM gray-label power supply.

  3. lol - your brother gave you a nice GPU with a PSU that can't supply the power it needs - - so he got the best of the deal -- leaving you to fork out for another PSU!
