Problem booting the system

Hi, first time posting here, i have no clue where i should be posting, so if i did post in the wrong place, i am sorry, if you can, move it to the right place, my problem is:

I bought a corsair h115 and tried to install it yesterday it was the first time installing and using one, while i was removing the other cooler which is a intel cooler box, i dropped it onto the video card, after installing the AIO i tried booting the computer, motherboard, video card and the water cooler and fans turned on, all the lights seemed to be ok, no beeps, but after 3 seconds the computer turned off, and then on again, and this time it seemed to be working fine, but the monitor was all black, cables were fine, monitor was on, but there was no information on the monitor, and after 40 seconds more or less the computer shuts down and then boots again. what could possibly be the problem here.

pc components are:

Z97 extreme4
i5 4670k
GTX 1070 Strix
Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8gb
Power supply is a thermaltake smart 650w 80 bronze

Sorry if i forgot to mention something here, and sorry about my broken english as well, i'm not a native speaker, Thank you in advance.

  1. Is there any noticeable damage on your graphics card where the cooler fell? If not, the problem is most likely with your cooler.

Make sure you plugged the power cord for the pump assembly into the CPU fan header. If not then the computer will not boot.

Also, you may need to reseat the CPU as the cooler may have shifted it slightly inside of the socket.

There's no noticeable damage on my graphics card where the cooler fell, the led lights turns on with no problem, well i plugged every cord from the cooler, are you talking about a really thin cord ? the thinner of them all ? it is connected into a 3 pin in my MOBO and by its side is written ''CPU_FAN 2, there is a 4 pin right in front of it and it is written ''CPU_FAN 1''

Btw, does the watercooler needs to be seated a certain way on the mobo/cpu ? because i saw in a lots of videos it being seated with the corsair logo horizontally, while mine was mounted vertically with the corsair logo and text starting at top and facing the bottom of the case.

Edit: Just tried to remove the GPU so i could try to boot the pc withouth it, and... i can't remove it, half of it left the mobo but the other half seems stuck inside the pci express slot and doesn't want to leave it, half of it left withouth even making a lot of force, the other just doesn't want to leave.

Edit2: it left, with the thingy you have to press down or up to lock and unlock the vga out of the mobo, which means the pci express is express is useless now, but it has more than one, right>

Edit3: this mobo has a ''led'' on it, everytime i try to boot it gives a 55 code, on the internet it says it is a code error for memory ram>

Edit:it still doesn't work even withouth the GPU, tried using only one ram stick in all 4 slots on the mobo and the error still happen, i don't think this may be a ram problem, because i didn't removed it when installing the h115i but maybe i installed the cooler in the wrong way> Eithey way i will wait till monday and take it to the tech guy here in my city for him to see if he can fix it, because the only thing i know i can do now is reinstall the cooler, but i am too scared to try it again, and i don't have thermal paste to aplly on the cooler.

  3. I would like to say that my pc has booted now, and it did after i switched a switch on my motherboard, it has wirtten on it the letter A and B and by its side is written bios 1, 2 and 3 i think, it is a cmos settings i guess? Anyhow, after doing that, the pc turned on for 3 seconds, then it shutted down and turned on again, this time it did not turned off, and no code 55, actually a lot of codes appeared really fast and the last was a 4F, pc booted, monitor working fine, now, i did had the VGA removed, it is not VGA fault i think because the error still happened, even after i removed the VGA, will install it, and will upgrade this post.

It does looks like i am talking alone here, but maybe someone will read this post and it will help someone, sorry for not putting this message as a edit in the last one, this will not happen again.

Edit1: Just installed my VGA and it looks to be working fine, pc is booting with it, tested with some games and everything seems to be working fine for now, Monday i will be installing a new PSU as well, thank you for the ONLY guy who tried to help there.
