My Monitor screen looks blurry and pixelated.

Guys,
i already built a very basic gaming desktop with
1. Asus Motherboard 775 socket.
2. Intel q8400 Quad core
3. Nvidia GTX Gforce 650 2gb DDR5
4. 4GB RAM DDR3
5. 19 inch led monitor from Dell(Not know the spec).

However, the problem, is when i open my pc and then the monitor resolution seem to fuzzy and pixelated.

however, when i play games, it was smooth, only the resolution is bad.

anyone know about this, and how to fixed it?

is it because of the PSU?

More about monitor screen blurry pixelated
  1. Make sure the monitor resolution is set to the native for the monitor, the refresh rate is at 60 and color depth is at 32bits. Aside from that, did you install the video card drivers from nVidia?

  2. I already set the monitor in its native resolution, 60hz refresh rate and 32bits. the driver also i got it from nvidia, but still the resolution in the monitor not nice enough. If you see closed enough at the monitor you would see like the electrical intereference(i dont know how to describe it) and the picture is not sharp.

if can be see directly if the you have some black area in the games, you can see the monitor is have white pixelated like old tv when we open it.

  3. You have to set the nvidia/windows for the same resolution as your monitor. You'll also have to set every add-on game to the same resolution. Most games/programs etc default to 1080p widescreen (1920x1080) but if you have an older square type monitor that's 1024x768, then it's going to look wierd since widescreen is 16:9 and square monitors are 4:3 aspect ratios.
The resolution of the monitor should be listed on the sticker on the back, or failing that you can usually Google the model number for the info.

Try a different connection type and a different monitor.
