Reboot and select proper boot device

My rig is about 8 months old and I recently got back from vacation (week and a half) and started receiving this problem. Whenever my computer sleeps or is restarted I get the prompt to Reboot and select the proper boot device. I restarted in BIOS and the boot order was squared away. I hard reset (flipped switch on PSU or unplugged) and it starts up just fine. However on any further soft restarts it returns me to that prompt. When using the computer for a fair amount of time (a few hours), I'll eventually get a BSoD but haven't been able to get the error code as it just flashes the blue screen and restarts immediately

MoBo: MSI Z270 GAMING M7 LGA 1151
SSD (boot drive): Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 4.2 GHz

Don't think rest of build is applicable, but will post/edit if asked.

More about reboot select proper boot device
  1. Download Whocrashed and have it analyse the minidump of the crash.

You can equally view some details of the crash error in the System Log in the Event Viewer program.
