MSI Tomahawk won't get to BIOS if any USB drive is inserted

So I just built a new computer and I can get into the BIOS with a keyboard/mouse attached just fine. But as soon as I put ANY USB drive into a USB slot, it won't even get to the BIOS screen. I have tried 3 different USB sticks without any luck. I have tried every slot on the mobo without any luck. I'm at a loss here...

  1. Why do you want to get into the bios with a usb stick attached? Secure UEFI bios may be blocking access if theres an OS on the drive.

If you are trying to install an OS, you use the F-key option presented at POST to select a boot device. Leave the bios boot device set at the hdd/ssd you want to install to.
