Random Graphics Artifacts and Crashing

I just(ish) got my first real computer but at random times my screen will go into this weird checker board patter of green artifacts and nonaffected squares(sometimes sound) then go into a windows 10 blue screen and restart. Though my most recent didn't crash and only affect minecraft and didn't crash windows.

I'd say my computer is about 3-5 months old, and still in warranty The games I had this effect are Minecraft, Unturned, Windows Desktop (once, small artifact) I've also had 3D errors in Starwars Battlefront (2005), and Visera Cleanup Detail.

My specs are:
AMD FX 4300 quad core CPU
AMD Radeon RX 460 GPU (no fan heat, heat sink)
8GBs of RAM
1 TB harddrive
??? Power Supply

EDIT: ok after running some stress tests, I'm certain it's the gpu overheating. My high temperature that I wrote down was 88C. I might've been higher but the screen went blank and I had to reboot the computer

  1. Where did you get an RX 460 without a fan? You will kill the card running it that way. You need to have very good chassis cooling setup to run a fan-less RX 460, not a good idea.

(Sorry for not responding earlier) I don't know exactly where I got it (my father bought it from cyberpowerpc) but I found the card here, near the bottom. I'm not good at hardware, I didn't even know there were models with fans.

You need to make sure the card had enough cooling in the case. If you have a small case with bad airflow or not enough fans, return this card and get one with a fan.

Ok thanks, I temperately fixed this by having my fans run at full speed all the time. I'll definitely look into getting one with a fan.
