Help me Samsung SSd NVMe 960

Pls help me!
i have mainboard MSI X99A SLI PLUS
i 've Buy Samsung 960 EVO PCIe NVMe M.2 2280 250GB
And i dont know my Mainboard MSI X99A SLI PLUS CAN INSTALL Samsung 960 EVO PCIe NVMe M.2 2280 250GB in mainboard.

  1. Your motherboard supports NVMe storage, no problem, but you must install your OS (Windows 10, I presume) in UEFI mode.
    Legacy mode (the old BIOS) will not work.

  3. Win 8.1 is okay too, as long as you install it in UEFI mode, not BIOS.

    Yes, I'm sure :)

    Look at the specifications page of your motherboard.
    Click on Details and then look at the section "On-Board SATA" (weirdly, the PCIe specs for the M.2 port have been included there).
    You will find the relevant information in the second block of that section.

    The reason why I told you that it will only work when Windows is installed under UEFI, not under BIOS, is this note, which you will find at the bottom of the section: "Intel RST does not support PCIe M.2 SSD with Legacy ROM."
    "Intel RST" stands for "Intel Rapid Storage Technology".

    The module can be installed on your motherboard, and it will work.
