Best motherboard for build, help

I built my first pc 3 or 4 years ago and I slowly upgraded it throughout the years. However I'm thinking of upgrading my cpu to an Intel Core i7-4790, however currently my cpu is amd and hence the motherboard is not going to be compatible.
My max "budget" is 100£ it is preferable if it were lower priced, I don't want anything super fancy or complex, I just want something compatible, reliable and won't make the pc crash every 1 hour. (If my concept of motherboard knowledge is wrong I'd love to learn and be corrected)

My current pc build is:
Motherboard - M5A97 LE R2.0
Current Cpu - amd fx 4350 (I also bought a Cooler Master Hyper 212 fan)
Gpu - amd asus radeon r9 290x-dc2
Ram- 2*4GB blue hyperx (ddr3)
SSD - Samsung Evo 120GB
HDD - 1TB blue caviar ...
power supply - corsair vs650

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

  2. you already have the core i7 and your mobo budget is 100 pounds?

i used to have an m5a97 with inegrated graphics...thats a great upgrade for you and heres what i would reccomend

im not sure how buying things internationally works exactly but this board is $105 in america after rebates. well within your 100pounds after excahnge rates....no point in getting the i7 4790k without a board thats reliable OC'er.

  4. Since it's a locked CPU I would just go with a cheaper 1150 socket motherboard that supports that CPU, this one would work well.
