  1. Yes, the B250 supports both M.2 PCIe (x4) and M.2 SATA>

The 960 Pro is M.2 PCIe (and requires x4 for full speeds).

  2. Of Course, only thing is it will occupy one of the 6 SATA ports, you still have plenty left :)

It won't occupy a SATA port..... if you populate the M.2 with a SATA SSD, it'll disable SATA port #2 (as it's using the SATA controller), but the 960 EVO is PCIe?

  4. The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled

When the M.2 port is populated with a SATA-based drive.

    Quote:
    • 6 x SATA 6Gb/s ports
    • 1 x M.2 slots (Key M)*
    - Support up to PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA 6Gb/
    - Supports 2242/ 2260/ 2280 storage devices

    * The SATA2 port will be unavailable when an M.2 SATA SSD module has been installed in the M.2 slot.

    The 960 Evo is M.2 NVMe/PCIe x4.

I don't believe that'll disable any SATA ports.
