Pc won't power back on

Hey guys and gals,

My pc was running this morning, it was sleeping, I hit the reset button on accident and it shut down but wouldn't come back on. I get a green light on my motherboard which is an Asus Sabertooth 990fx R2.0. My case however has had issues recently with the power button sticking (a new case is in the mail). I removed the top of the case to get at the button mechanism itself and it still wouldn't turn the PC on.

Any ideas?

PC Specs below:

Asus Sabertooth 990fx r2.0 motherboard

AMD vishera black 8350 cup

Enermax liquid cooling system

16 gb Kingston Ram 2x 8GB chips

Corsair cx750 power supply unit.

Thanks for any help!

Well, took out my msi nvidia gtx 970 card and got it to power on. When i plug it in it won't power on and I plugged it in while running (yeah I know...) and it shut down the PC. Does this mean a bad card??

it may be a bad card or a failing power supply where its not able to handle the extra power from the GPU anymore

Tried a new psu and get the same issue. Damn MSI just sent me this one a couple months back after an RMA request. Lasted 2 months.
