Ryzen 3 1200 build, unable to enter the BIOS

Hello everyone, I am building an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 gaming pc and Im having trouble getting into the bios. Here are the full system specs below

ASRock AB350M PRO4 motherboard
Nvidia GTX 1050ti 4gb gpu
8gb Gskill Fortis 2666mhz DDR4 ram
EVGA SuperNova 650 G2 80 Plus Gold certified psu
Windows 10 Home Premium 64 bit
Seagate FireCuda 1TB Gaming SSHD
Corsair Spec-01 case

I put all the components I had together while I was waiting for the hard drive and Windows 10 to arrive in the mail. I figured I would be able to test the motherboard and enter the bios but when I powered on the computer it cycles off then back on continuously without ever entering the bios. I read in a topic that this can be caused by the cpu overheating but I installed the included spire wraith cooler and the thermal paste is pre-applied, so I don't see why there would be any heat issues. If anyone knows what else could possibly be causing this loop that's keeping me from entering the bios, I would be very appreciative, thanks!

  1. Do you have only one memory module?

May need another one to test with.

Are you getting any codes or solid lights on the motherboard?

May be a defective motherboard is everything is installed properly. Double check installation, if nothing else works, I suggest getting the motherboard replaced or motherboard and RAM to take care of two possibilities at once.

  2. Check my forum post I'm having similar issues, I think it's cuz the stupid manufacturers aren't shipping BRAND NEW motherboards WITH FRESH BIOS AND SUPPORT FOR RYZEN 3......

  3. Hi thank you for the suggestions, as soon as my hard drive and windows 10 arrive in the mail im going to take another crack at it, I am using dual modules, 4gb each. I purchased the motherboard a little while back so I guess it's possible it's not recognizing the Ryzen 3 1200 cpu for lack of updates? If I continue to have issues I will contact newegg where I purchased the motherboard and go from there, thanks again!
