More about motherboard ryzen
  1. ASUS Prime B350M-K or B350M-A are all good choices :) Major diff is latter has 2 more ram slots.

  2. My issue with most B350 MoBos is the on board componentry

ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS AM4 (it doesn't get and lower budget than 887)

    Audio Chipset = Realtek ALC887-VD2
    LAN Chipset = Realtek 8111H

If its a Gaming Box, id want sumthin like the MSI B350 Gaming pro carbon w/ Realtek ALC1220 which right now is 20% off and $10 rebate in US. See how it compares pricewise over there.

Of course if game sound is not on your list of important items, then no need to worry. FPS folks big on network speed and being able to pinpoint where sniper fire coming from.

Between the two, MSI gaming plus wins.

    Some reviews on ASUS:

Do NOT buy with a Ryzen chip
This review is from: ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS AM4 AMD B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 HDMI ATX Motherboards - AMD
    Pros: - cheap
    - lights look pretty
    - taught me to avoid ASUS at all costs

Cons: I like many other people have been having a mountain of blue screens with many of them being inconsistent and difficult to pinpoint, after months of buying new parts and diagnosing, even memtest86 needs a workaround to run with this board and chip setup. The only common link I've found with the issues I've found between my issues and similar ones is that they're always using the Asus B350 and a Ryzen chip. I'd avoid at all costs until it gets fixed in a Bios update, or save yourself a tonne of time by just paying an extra $20 for a better board that functions out of the box

  7. To me reliability > functionality, I don't like sending back DOA parts and wait for new one. If you really like Asus, give it a try.
