Wanting to upgrademy Gigabyte Motherboard 1155.GA - P67A - UD3R - B3

My name is Neville Macdonald from Brisbane, Australia. I have a Gaming Computer that needs a New Motherboard. The Old one is a GA – P67A – UD3R – B3. I have a Sandy Bridge Processor 115 i7 in it.

What model board (1155) can I upgrade to without having to change anything???

If I go to say a GA – B75M – D3H Ivy Bridge, will it still work. Will my 1155 i7 Intel Processor still work or will I have to change something .

Would really appreciate if you could help me as no computer Spare parts shops are able to help me.

Also do you also know where I could get a new replacement board, anywhere in the world.

  1. Socket LGA 1155 motherboards are available in the used marketplace. LGA 1155 socket motherboards were released in 2011 and 2012 and are discontinued products no longer in production today.

  3. Hi, Thanks for That. Does it matter if its an Ivy Bridge Board and I use my Sandy Bridge CPU.?

  4. Probably not. The motherboard manufacturer publishes a CPU Support List for their motherboards.
