Monitors no signal if "HD audio" not plugged in?

I find this strange?, Does it really need to be plugged in?, When i took it out the PC would boot but i had no signal on my monitors but when i put it back in, The problem went away?

HUH?, Can anyone explain? I have 0 problems with the PC it's self, I game and do normal stuff but sometimes it says "No signal" I think i'v fixed it, I'v replaced the CMOS battery twice now, Reseat RAM 4 times.

On CPUID HWMonitor it's all fine

  1. use hwinfo to read back fan speed and power readings the first on it run at 100% with case fans no 3 the other part is you 12volts line show 13.99 and the +5 volts show 2.95 volts if this not bad readings you have a issue there .

  3. on your first print screen in the post open it and check the 5 and 12 volts readings there out of specs for a psu .

So does that mean the psu is faulty?, I don't understand... Because the PC boots just fine but sometimes it says "No signal" on my monitors... Everything spins like normal
