will i7 7700k drop in price when coffee lake comes out?

Title pretty much says it all. Im open to other suggestions as well that are in a similar price range. I have a noctua cpu cooler so i can overclock pretty heavily (my i5 3570k is OC'd to 4.2 Ghz atm, made it through the summer without overheating). My computer specs are i5 3570k, z77 extreme 4, corsair ddr3 16gb 2333 mhz, windforce gtx 970 g1

Don't expect a big drop like $100 or anything, but stores like Microcenter, Newegg, etc, will probably drop prices a small amount on Skylake/Kaby Lake stuff as it will be "end of life" for the platform.

  2. Intel will not change prices, or, at least they have not done so in the past.
    Used might see a drop.

Retailers with inventory might if new products should have a better price/performance forcing such a drop.

Higher-priced than Ryzen, as would be expected, but less expensive than Intel 6+ core CPUs now.
