hdd issues sata3 to sata2 problem?

hey guys,
so i changed my hard drive from a sata2 to a sata3 and my mobo only has sata 2 ports,after the change my windows 7 keeps boot issues till it does not boot at all,and BSOD is a regular.i changed bios setting from ide to ahci but it only delayed the problem.what should i do?
hdd:wd blue
mobo:asus p5p43td pro
cpu:q9650

  1. Did you reinstall your OS after you swapped the drive?And of the SATA configuration from IDE to AHCI, was that prior to OS installation or after?

    yes i reinstalled after ide to ahci,my windows wont last 72 hours

  3. After a clean install you need to install all the proper drivers.

  4. i do install drivers:chipset,vga,audio... anything that is in the website,no luck!
