Can't find LED ports on mobo for rgb lighting!

Hey guys I have an Asus M5A99X Evo motherboard. A few days ago I bought the Corsair Lighting Node Pro to give my case some RGB lighting to match my Corsair RGB headset, mousepad, mouse and keyboard. In the manual it says to attach one of the wires to an "LED" 3 prong socket on my motherboard but I'm not seeing any. I have a "PWR CPU" and a few "CH FAN" 3 prong sockets available but no "LED" 3 prong sockets like the instruction manual is asking for. Could someone help me with this please?! Thanks in advance!

  1. Simple, MB doesn't have dedicated contacts for RGB lights.

Yeah you're right. The LED Header it was mentioning was the header on the little square unit that comes with the strips that sits in the case. Then the other wire goes to a USB 2.0 header on the mobo. Just so I'm sure the USB 2.0 header on the mobo is black right?

  3. There's 3 USB headers on the bottom middle of MB, 9 pins each and each 4 pins in a row control one USB2 channel. I don't know which exact color it is, they keep changing it with each MB version. It's marked under each socket.
