Is ASROCK Z170 GAMING K6 good enough for i7-7700k

Hi.

I saw a package deal of both for 600 USD. Think it's a good deal but is this board good enough for this CPU?

And else - what cooler and RAM would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello:D

No. The 7700K needs a Z270 board. That price for a board and CPU is just stupid expensive. The seller is a greedy bleep.

    Kingston HyperX Fury 3000MHz 16GB

Cryorig H7 for the cooler. No guarantees that it will fit in your case. Without knowing your case it's not possible to offer that.

  2. I see.

Can you recommend a Z-270 board then?

For the case - I think about getting a Segatop SG-K7.

    https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130993 + https://jet.com/product/detail/e3c14d6f55a14b8aa5b5ed8c8cb0d7f7 is about $460. Use promo code SAVE15.

The case will easily accommodate the Cryorig H7.

  4. 7700K cost around $320-330 and z270 boards cost from $80 and up. Just get s board with the features you need.
