Ryzen 5 1600 stock cooler speed!

Hello guys! I just built my new setup, ryzen 5 1600 on Asus b350 prime plus, I noticed that I had 1500rpm by default at the stock cooler and temps going up and down from 42-47 in latest bios, Ryzen master was showing temps from 35-45 going up and down, I also noticed in ryzen master that my core voltage was going from 1.18 to 1.38. All these in default and auto settings. I built the same parts for a friend and he had in latest bios temps from 42-47 too but cooler was at 800-880 rpm, not as high as mine, any ideas? Why is this happening? I also saw some video online and other people have same speeds, 800-850 with stock cooler and ryzen 5 or 7. Shall I worry?

  1. What is the ambient temperature in the room with your PC? Also what is the ventilation in your system like? If both are normal try to manually set the fan curve and see if there is much difference in the temps.

I got 4 extra fans properly installed, top, front, bottom and back. Room temp is 25-30, summer here... For now I just have it on standard from bios settings but since voltage is in auto, it goes up and down, so As temps I guess, I haven't touched the fan manually yet

  3. Did you try to manually change the fan curve in the bios. Just lower it to the same RPM as your friends and see if there is any significant temperature rise.

Okay, take your time and I will help you figure this out, Try and run CPUz and HWInfo as well and see if the temps are consistent.
