Motherboard not finding boot device randomly.

My Asus ROG Strix Z270E motherboard is not recognizing my Samsung SSD, or my HDD for that matter. It's worked before, it has booted fine, and has only now begun randomly not reading it. Recently it has been consistently doing this and I'm not sure what to do. I've checked all connections, put it in different sata ports, tried Bios updates, among other things. Can anyone please help me?

More about motherboard finding boot device randomly
  1. Your drive may be failing. Check when you bought it, if you can claim replacement or such.
Check with another spare drive, if THAT is recognized, to be sure, if your drive is defective, or your motherboard.
