  1. Assuming you mean a h81 no. That's the wrong socket

  2. You were told correctly an H81M-DG4 would not work with a G4560. For guaranteed compatibility you need a 200 series motherboard. Something like a B250.

Hey guys 8). So I've decided to build a some kind gaming pc and got an intel pentium g4560 paired with gtx 1050 and 8GB DDR3 RAM. And the only thing left is a Motherboard.. And I've got less than 50$ left for it and I cant decide witch to get... For now I've stopped uppon the ASRock H18M-DG4, socket1150. I personally think that, it's a good budget MOBO, and I just wanna ask if some one can suggest me a better one =)).

    dont, save up money.

    1) that motherboard is incompatible with the cpu
    2) 50 dollars isnt going to cut it, you need 70.

Well thats really bad.. Cuz i just bought ddr3 memory (i feel so sad and angry right now..), so you are telling me that there i just spended my money on ddr3 and there is NO mobo that supports ddr3 and can gocwith this cpu?!

  7. Nope, not out of the box. H110 motherboards support it but need a bios update, which you can't do without a skylake CPU which you don't have. Next time do a bit of research before buying computer parts.

  8. the motherboard is for 4xxx series i-chips. the g4560 is a 7th generation chip but it is a pentium G4xxx not an i3, i5, or i7.
    you need a motherboard that is 7thGeneration ready, or a pre-flashed 6th generation i-series motherboard. socket 1151.

newegg states the board is good for "New 4th and 4th Generation Intel Core" I think this is where the confusion is. i-series 4xxx is not anything like G-series 4xxx.
that board would handle the G3xxx series pentium G chips.

No, there isn't any motherboard that will support that CPU with DDR3 RAM. Skylake and Kaby Lake (G4560) brought in a new type of CPU architecture that required a new kind of socket to support it, and it had a minimum requirement of DDR4 memory. Most of the motherboards that support the newer architecture are also more expensive than that of previous generations (since they're in higher demand).

Try to return your RAM and attempt to get new DDR4 ones, and save up an extra $20-50 to get an appropriate motherboard. It sucks but if you want to use that CPU that's the only way you can do it.

This is why you come here and ask questions before opening your wallet.
People here DO actually know stuff.

Even I ask other people here for a once over if I am not 100% sure on particular parts.
    Research, research, research.
