Trident z, Asus rog strix b350 and ryzen 5 1600

If I use the aura software to control the ram as opposed to g.skills rgb software will I experience any issues?

  1. Mostly no, but i do belive the G.skill software offers more support and variety on the RGB.

    I heard there was issues with SPD overwriting on ryzen if you use two different softwares unless they fixed that issue

    Forget what i said mate;

    They`ve officaly stated on their website before that Aura will conflict with the RAM, often killing it entirely.

    The software will conflict with other LED lighting control software (such as ASUS Aura, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI Command Center/Mystic Light, NZXT CAM, etc.). Please do not install both software at the same time, or there may be software conflicts. We will be working in future versions to improve compatibility between the different software programs.

    I actually just found a Reddit article stating it's been fixed since June. Thank you for your help
